Speaker A:

We are almost to the end of summer.

Speaker A:

The autumnal equinox is coming up on Monday and that's when the sun crosses directly over the equator, resulting in essentially equal hours of day and night.

Speaker A:

So Monday is the official end of summer and beginning of fall.

Speaker A:

In fact, the, the equinox proper will happen Monday afternoon at 1:19.

Speaker A:

And as I get geared up for the official end of summer, I thought, well, there's some, there's some things I probably need to get done before summer's officially over.

Speaker B:

Well, gather round folks.

Speaker B:

It's the time of day when we laugh and smile in a light hearted way.

Speaker B:

Tune in for the giggles and let's kick back.

Speaker B:

Here comes the fun.

Speaker B:

It's the morning six pack.

Speaker A:

I don't do them this early very often, but if you're not familiar, my morning six pack is a top six list and today this is the top six things that I'll try to do before the end of summer.

Speaker A:

Number six, try one more time to perfect my barbecued cotton candy recipe.

Speaker A:

Number five, lower my white socks and see how my tan lines are doing.

Speaker A:

Number four, take down my Christmas tree.

Speaker A:

Maybe I'll just leave it up at this point.

Speaker A:

Number three, go over and tell the neighbor kids they make terrible lemonade.

Speaker A:

Number two, mow the lawn for the first time.

Speaker A:

And the number one thing I'm going to try to do before the summer's over, spring cleaning.
