Some of the lyrics include the line ice is gonna come bust down your door.

And he talks about the Boss stopped bumping name dropping.

Bruce Springsteen, a long time icon in liberal politics and music.

Speaker A:

And so you know, Zach Bryant Something Orange is so emotional and personal and he's not been overtly political in most of his songs.

Although if you look at his social media and some of the people that he's done duets with, it's not hard.

To figure out that he skews to.

Speaker A:

The left side of the aisle, without a doubt.

Speaker A:

And so reactions are of course split anytime politics gets mentioned.

John Rich from Big and Rich fame, a hardcore conservative is slamming it, saying it's political overreach.

It's why I hate Nashville, because they're all liberals, big city liberals, other people saying, oh, it's courageous.

Speaker A:

A mainstream country artist using his platform.

Speaker A:

So it'll be split like anything else that gets into politics.

Speaker B:

But the one thing you always know.

Speaker A:

Is the music business is going to try to take advantage and make money.

Speaker A:

So I know it's just a matter of time before some studio and some artist decides to rerecord legendary country songs that are maybe just a little bit different.
