Speaker A:

It's haystack time for some small talk.

Speaker A:

HBO Max leads the Emmy Awards.

Speaker A:

The nominations that were announced HBO Max with 122 ahead of Netflix's 111 and a record for Apple TV.

Speaker A:

They got 87 this go round.

Speaker A:

You know, the real Emmy at this point should go to anyone who can remember what app has what show.

Speaker A:

The minefield out there trying to remember what show is where Stamp prices are rising yet again.

Speaker A:

A first class forever stamp, $0.78 now is going to go up to $0.82 on Sunday, the eighth increase in just five years.

Speaker A:

You know, that's why they call it the forever stamp, because forever is how long the price will continue to go up.

Speaker A:

The oldest truck driver in the world about to happen.

Speaker A:

A 93 year old Iowa man has driven more than 70 years over 5 million miles on the road and will soon attain the world record for oldest truck driver.

Speaker A:

He's probably his gps probably has to ask him for directions.

Speaker A:

He's seen it all, man.

Speaker A:

70 Years, 5 million miles.

Speaker A:

That's amazing.

Speaker A:

A Dolly Parton musical based on her life and music set to hit Broadway on her birthday January 19th.

Speaker A:

There's a new trend in divorce where some divorced women are turning their wedding bands into divorce rings, having them resized and wearing them on their middle fingers.

Speaker A:

Talk about jewelry with a very specific message.

Speaker A:

I, I kind of love that.

Speaker A:

I got to admit.

Speaker A:

United Airlines in a lawsuit over claims that passengers paid extra for window seats but had blank walls instead of an actual window.

Speaker A:

I guess the view is available for an additional fee.

Speaker A:

Your imagination fee unlocks the chance for you to close your eyes and pretends that that's a window.

Speaker A:

Ridiculous.

Speaker A:

Speaking of airplane drama, this one is, it's sad, but it's also fascinating.

Speaker A:

And over Argentina, a flight instructor has a 22 year old student pilot with them.

Speaker A:

And the instructor looks to the student and basically says, you know what to do.

Speaker A:

Jumps from the small plane, leaving the 22 year old student to alert authorities and have to land the plane by themselves.

Speaker A:

Some teachers give pop quizzes and I guess this instructor decided to do a drop quiz instead because they just dropped right out to airplane.
