Speaker A:

Good morning.

Speaker A:

It's haystack.

Speaker A:

And daylight saving time is of course, over.

Speaker A:

Yesterday we, we had an extra hour, kind of sorta.

Speaker A:

And there's, you know, there's one good thing that's great about all the smart technology.

Speaker A:

For most part, we don't have to change clock stuff anymore.

Speaker A:

Most of it's done automatically.

Speaker A:

But according to a new poll, 54% of Americans want to see the clock changing done for good.

Speaker A:

40% of us want to keep it.

Speaker A:

But the biggest reason why there's not been a change to get rid of daylight saving time, even though most politicians are in favor of getting rid of it, is they can't agree on which time to go to.

Speaker A:

The the summer daylight saving time or the current standard time.

Speaker A:

In fact, there was a, a bipartisan bill with support from multiple Republican and Democrat senators, and it was Arkansas's own Tom Cotton that tried to put a stop to it.

Speaker A:

So get a Hill, get ahold of his office if you're not happy that we're still changing clocks.

Speaker A:

But either way, yesterday we found ourselves basically with an extra hour.

Speaker A:

What did you do with yours?

Speaker A:

Here's a list of the top six things that Americans did with their extra hour.

Speaker B:

Well, gather round, folks.

Speaker B:

It's the time of day when we laugh and smile in a lighthearted way.

Speaker B:

Tune in for the giggles and let's kick back.

Speaker B:

Here comes the fun.

Speaker B:

It's the morning six pack.

Speaker A:

Once again, the top six things that Americans did with their extra hour yesterday.

Speaker A:

Number six, steal Reese's peanut butter cups from the kids trick or treat bag.

Speaker A:

Number five, complain about it being too early for Christmas commercials while shopping for Christmas presents.

Speaker A:

Number four, get laid off from Amazon.

Speaker A:

Number three, shoo Prince Andrew away from their teenage daughters.

Speaker A:

Number two, Spend time with their spouse.

Speaker A:

Just kidding.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No, no one did that.

Speaker A:

And the number one thing Americans did with their extra hour yesterday?

Speaker A:

Thought about their favorite moments from this weekend's Saturday Night Live and then try to figure out what to do with the remaining 59 minutes and 45 seconds.
