Morning 6-Pack - Six way-funnier names for McDonald's Big Arch

Published on: 21st September, 2026

McDonald's dropped the Big Arch — basically a burger the size of a bus and clocking in at just over 1,000 calories. I rant that at about $15 for a meal it's not cheap, but hey, you're definitely getting your money's worth in mass and regret. We run a quick Morning 6-Pack where I pitch better names for this mega-sandwich, because “Big Arch” is kinda lame. I toss out goofy contenders like “McMuffin Top” and “MC Bypass” and we laugh about how this thing could ruin your dinner plans. Stick around — we save the top pick for last, and trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Takeaways:

  • We mocked McDonald's new Big Arch as their answer to 'fast food not feeling like a deal' — it's enormous and kinda ridiculous.
  • I said it's about 1,000 calories so it's more of an afternoon commitment than a normal lunch, no joke.
  • We pointed out the burger has roughly triple the calories of a regular Mickey D's cheeseburger and about double a Big Mac, yikes.
  • At around fifteen bucks for a meal, it's not exactly cheap, but hey the calorie-to-dollar ratio is kinda off the charts, lol.
  • We roasted the name 'Big Arch' and ran through our top six better names, finishing with the gloriously dumb 'Off Salad' as number one.

Speaker A:

It's haystack.

Speaker A:

And McDonald's has decided to answer the argument that's often said recently about fast food not feeling like a deal anymore.

Speaker A:

And their answer to that is, fine.

Speaker A:

Here's a burger the size of a bus.

Speaker A:

It is called the Big Arch.

Speaker A:

It's two quarter pound patties, three slices of cheese, crispy onions, raw onions, pickles, lettuce, special sauce, great big bun.

Speaker A:

Basically, McDonald's looked at the Big Mac and said, what if we made one?

Speaker A:

For someone who thinks that this is a snack, the thing is a little over 1,000 calories, which is more of an afternoon commitment than lunch.

Speaker A:

It has three times the calories of a regular Mickey D's cheeseburger, about double that of a Big Mac.

Speaker A:

And I guess that's the point.

Speaker A:

People keep complaining that fast food got too expensive.

Speaker A:

So McDonald's is saying, you want value?

Speaker A:

Fine.

Speaker A:

We'll sell you enough burger to change your plans.

Speaker A:

At around $15 for a meal, it's not exactly cheap, but at least nobody can accuse it of being tiny.

Speaker A:

You eat a Big Arch for lunch and by dinner your body is still saying it needs its break today.

Speaker A:

I guess if fast food is going to cost restaurant money, at least the calorie to dollar ratio is high with this one.

Speaker A:

But really, they're calling it the Big Arch Burger.

Speaker A:

That name is McLame.

Speaker A:

Instead, they should call it anything from my list of the top six better names for their biggest burger ever than the Big Arch Burger.

Speaker B:

Well, gather round, folks.

Speaker B:

It's the time of day when we laugh and smile in a lighthearted tune in for the giggles.

Speaker B:

And let's kick back.

Speaker B:

Here comes the fun.

Speaker B:

It's the Morning.

Speaker A:

Six Pack.

Speaker A:

Top six better names for McDonald's biggest burger ever.

Speaker A:

Number six, the McMuffin Top.

Speaker A:

Number five, MC Bypass.

Speaker A:

Number four, the Cankle Maker.

Speaker A:

Number three, the Death Wish Deluxe.

Speaker A:

Number two, the McThickin Sandwich.

Speaker A:

And the number one better name for McDonald's biggest burger ever, the Off Salad.
