Speaker A:

Good morning, it's Haystack.

Speaker A:

And I mentioned briefly early yesterday morning, Monday morning, early Monday morning, that I had bumped into a lady that's in the cosmetic field over the weekend at a party and she told me about zombie filler, and I was a little taken aback.

Speaker A:

But this is legitimately a huge new cosmetic trend making headlines.

Speaker A:

And to me it sounds like something out of a sci fi movie or a horror movie, but it's nicknamed zombie filler and it involves injecting fat taken from human cadavers into living patients.

Speaker A:

So this uses a product made from donated body fat that has been purified and processed and then injected into areas like the chest, to the rear end, the chest to add volume.

Speaker A:

And they say that it's minimally invasive.

Speaker A:

That is the appeal.

Speaker A:

It does not require surgery, it does not require any type of a liposuction, and it works for people who don't have enough body fat of their own to use and relocate.

Speaker A:

And it's being offered at all these high end clinics.

Speaker A:

They say demand is growing, especially among people chasing very specific body standards.

Speaker A:

But it's raising some eyebrows and questions.

Speaker A:

Of course, for one, long term safety is still limited and some doctors are saying that the industry moves too fast, there's not enough research.

Speaker A:

Then of course, there are ethical concerns.

Speaker A:

Many doctor forms don't clearly spell out that the body fat could be used for cosmetic procedures.

Speaker A:

When you agree to donate those donor forms, you think you're doing good stuff for science and you're helping Jill have more luscious lips.

Speaker A:

And I don't know, I mean, I've got plenty of body fat to donate and it may give me a chance to get more action in death, if you know what I mean, than I ever did in real life.

Speaker A:

But I'm not too sure about this.

Speaker A:

Although to be fair, it does sound like a pretty unique business opportunity.

Speaker B:

When a loved one passes, you want to keep them in your heart.

Speaker B:

And now you can keep them in other places as well.

Speaker B:

At Johnson Funeral Home and Plastic Surgery center, our family of morticians and estheticians work together to remove the fatty tissue from the departed and put it in your parts to augment your breasts or buttocks.

Speaker C:

People say I have my grandma's cheeks, and now I literally have grandma in my cheeks.

Speaker B:

They say you can't take it with you, but you can take a little piece of them with you.

Speaker A:

My grandfather was a man of big shoulders, and thanks to him, I'm a man of big pecs.

Speaker C:

And with my lip injections, when I kiss my kids good night.

Speaker C:

They're also getting a kiss from Nana and it gives them nightmares.

Speaker C:

But they'll get used to it.

Speaker B:

Call Johnson Funeral Home and Plastic Surgery center and turn your old family members into a brand new you.
