Speaker A:

Good morning.

Speaker A:

It's Haystack.

Speaker A:

And there is a new survey that finds two in five people have cried at work before.

Speaker A:

Wow.

Speaker A:

So two and five people have worked at a restaurant.

Speaker A:

Now 39% said they have broken down in tears while on the job.

Speaker A:

And 14% of us, or one out of seven have cried multiple times on the job.

Speaker A:

Another 25% said, man, once or twice some of us admit to being close to crying at work.

Speaker A:

About a fifth of us, so basically almost 2/3 of us have cried or wanted to cry while at work.

Speaker A:

Now, a lot of people openly vent or complain about their job to family or friends at least occasionally.

Speaker A:

And a third of us say every day we vent.

Speaker A:

But just over 10% of us, let's see, 12%, that's one out of eight, roughly.

Speaker A:

Never ever complain about our job.

Speaker A:

One out of eight of us never complain about our jobs.

Speaker A:

I guess that means we've never experienced anything from today's list of the top six things that should make us cry at work.

Speaker A:

Well, gather round folks.

Speaker A:

It's the time of day when we laugh and smile in a light hearted way.

Speaker A:

Tune in for the giggles and let's kick back.

Speaker A:

Here comes the fun.

Speaker A:

It's the morning six pack.

Speaker A:

The top six things that make us cry at work.

Speaker A:

Number six, all the K Cups are decaf.

Speaker A:

Oh no.

Speaker A:

5, Nobody noticed my new bangs.

Speaker A:

Number four, realizing that we just hit reply all on that very uncouth joke.

Speaker A:

Oh no.

Speaker A:

3, Our paycheck after taxes.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that's enough to make me cry for sure.

Speaker A:

Number two, being replaced by a robot just because it doesn't whine or surf porn or call in sick when it's hungover.

Speaker A:

And the number one thing that makes me cry, it makes us cry at work is of course spending $200,000 on a humanities degree only to wind up working at Applebee's.
