Alabama Bama on Surviving Winter with Jack and Yoo Hoo

Published on: 4th February, 2026

Haystack is back and he’s got Alabama Bama on the line, and boy, do they have a frosty convo ahead! The chill vibes are real as Bama brings her usual flair to the morning show, cracking jokes about the weather and her not-so-daring plans to avoid slipping down a slide due to the cold. Between giggles and puns about groundhogs and guinea pigs, Bama spins a yarn about how she’s ready to cross the state line—not for mischief this time, but to escape the cold! Who knew cold weather could lead to personal growth? Bama claims she’s maturing, y’all! The highlight? Bama's secret recipe for hot chocolate that’s more survival tactic than dessert! Spoiler alert: it involves Jack Daniels and Yoo Hoo, and it's as wild as Bama herself! So grab your favorite blanket and settle in for a laugh-filled chat that’ll warm your heart, even if it’s snowing outside!

Speaker B:

Good morning, it's Haystack and it's time for a chat with my dear friend Bama from rural Alabama.

Speaker B:

She joins us on the phone now.

Speaker B:

And Bama, it looks like.

Speaker B:

Looks like based on Monday morning, we may have some more cold weather on the way.

Speaker B:

Are you holding up alright with that idea?

Speaker A:

Oh hey, stack that dead gum guinea pig saw his shadow.

Speaker A:

So I reckon I ain't gonna be greased up and careening down a slipping slide for at least another six weeks.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

Now Bama, I think you may.

Speaker B:

It's a groundhog, but anyway, go on.

Speaker A:

Oh well, either way it is cold.

Speaker A:

It's been so cold that made me want to cross the border.

Speaker A:

Which fun fact would be the first time I crossed it for warmth instead of for evading arrest.

Speaker A:

Oh, I'm a growing up.

Speaker B:

Well, that is one way to measure personal growth.

Speaker A:

I'm practically mature now, sugar.

Speaker A:

Anyways, I need to go make my famous hot chocolate.

Speaker B:

You know, that actually sounds pretty nice.

Speaker B:

What's your recipe?

Speaker A:

Oh, it's pretty simple.

Speaker A:

A few shots of Jack Daniels mixed with a Yoo Hoo.

Speaker A:

You microwave that sucker for 60 seconds and you'll be warmer than a truck stop taquito at 3am.

Speaker B:

Now I'm not sure that qualifies as hot chocolate.

Speaker A:

Oh, it qualifies as survival Haystack.

Speaker B:

All right Bama, fair enough.

Speaker B:

Just proud it ain't real cold right now.

Speaker B:

If it gets cold again, you stay warm down there in Alabama.

Speaker A:

You too, sugar.

Speaker A:

If you see me in a parka and flip flops.

Speaker A:

You mind your business now.
